This web site was designed to walk you into the 20th and 21st centuries as 6279 acres on the LaPlata river served as a Military fort, Indian school, High school, Two-year college , the San Juan Basin Research Center and has begun a new chapter for Fort Lewis College as it celebrates it's centennial beginning on January 25, 2011.
